Water Fall

Water Fall

Mixed Media. This head-dress (Circle Bonnet with Trailer) was purchased from the Wolf Feather group by the Southern Plains Indian Art Museum. It was the first head-dress I designed and constructed under the tutelage of Mr. David Kline Sr. (Wolf Feather). Needless to say I was very honored and delighted that out of all the pieces we made available to them, they selected a piece that I created. Although I have never been formally personally recognized for my work because adopted a birth I have no legal affiliation to any tribe and therefore I could not be publicly recognized for my Native American Art. "People wouldn't respect it." Well isn't that just the way the world in general is! It's all right by me though, I know the creator gave me my talents and has guided my life so I would experience more than the typical human being. I think part of my mission is to open peoples eyes. Yeah, so we are all different that's good. Let's enjoy and respect each others differences and become more because of them. Rather than trying to destroy each other because of them! If you look closely, really closely we are much more alike than we are different! If you cut me, do I not bleed RED too! A view from the side.
